Does this station need WiFi?

No. FT0860 is a pure 433 MHz RF version — it works without a router or cloud, ideal for fields and remote locations.

What does 'feels-like' temperature mean?

It combines wind-chill and heat-index calculations with the measured temperature so you know how the air actually feels — useful for outdoor work planning.

How far does the sensor transmit?

Up to 100 m (328 ft) in open air at 433 MHz, about 30 m through typical walls. The integrated sensor refreshes every 16 seconds.

Can the solar panel charge the batteries?

The solar panel is auxiliary — it extends battery life but does not actively charge the AA cells.

Which units can be switched?

Temperature °C/°F, rainfall mm/in, pressure hPa/inHg, and wind speed m/s, mph, km/h, knots or Beaufort — covering most global markets.
