FAQ
How many sensors can the console support?
Up to 8 remote thermo-hygrometer sensors on channels CH1–CH8, in addition to the integrated wind sensor. Each zone reading is shown on the same console.
Which WiFi platform does the weather station upload to?
The user manual refers to a separate WiFi guide for the upload platform. The console pairs to a standard 2.4 GHz home router; please confirm the exact target platform with the seller before deployment.
Can the solar panel charge the batteries?
The solar panel is auxiliary — it extends battery life by reducing discharge cycles, but does not actively charge the AA cells. Use lithium AA cells below -20 °C for best endurance.
How far does the sensor transmit to the console?
Up to 100 m in open air at 433 MHz (330 ft), about 30 m through typical building walls. Wind data refreshes every 16 seconds, thermo-hygro every 60 seconds.
How do I switch between northern and southern hemisphere?
Use the wind vane calibration menu to select NOR (northern hemisphere) or SOU (southern hemisphere) so wind direction is displayed correctly.
