K-type digital thermometer · single & dual input

The DT1311 and DT1312 read temperature with standard K-type thermocouples from −200 to 1,370 °C and show it on a large 4-digit LCD at 0.1 °C resolution. DT1311 is the single-input version; DT1312 adds a second input and displays the difference T1 − T2 directly, which is what you want for differential measurements on heat exchangers, ducts and process lines.

FAQ
Which model do I need?
DT1311 is the single-input version — one probe, one reading. Choose DT1312 when you need two points at once, for example inlet and outlet of a heat exchanger, or when you want the difference T1 − T2 displayed directly.
Can I use my own thermocouples?
Yes. Both models use the standard miniature K-type connector, so any K-type probe with the same plug will work. The meter reads the K-type characteristic — the usable temperature range is then limited by the probe you attach.
What is the difference between the meter range and the probe range?
The meter is specified to 1,370 °C, but a standard TP-01 wire probe is rated well below that. For high-temperature work choose a probe rated for the process — the reading is only as good as the sensor.
Are batteries and probes included?
Probes are included: one K-type probe with DT1311, two with DT1312. Batteries are not included — the meter takes four AAA cells.
Why is the reading slow to settle?
Thermocouples respond as fast as their mass allows; thin wire probes settle in seconds, sheathed or surface probes take longer. Keep the probe in contact until the value stabilises.
How do I turn off the auto power-off?
Hold the HOLD key while switching on to cancel it; the auto power-off symbol disappears from the display. The instrument then stays on until you switch it off.
