FAQ

Does this station need WiFi?

No. It connects to the console over 433 MHz and logs to its own storage and the bundled PC software — ideal for greenhouses, fields and remote farms without reliable internet.

How much data can the console store?

About 5000 sets of history data in a circular buffer. The record interval defaults to 30 minutes and can be adjusted from 16 s to 240 min; oldest entries are overwritten automatically.

Which operating systems does WeatherHome support?

Windows only: NT4 (SP ≥ 6a), 2000, Vista, Windows 7–10. Minimum config: IE 6.0+, Pentium III 500 MHz, 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended). Connection is via USB cable.

How is the rain funnel cleaned?

Tilt the funnel about 30° to remove it, clear any insects or debris, then snap it back. Regular cleaning keeps rainfall readings accurate.

Can the solar panel charge the batteries?

The solar panel is auxiliary — it extends battery life but does not actively charge the AA cells.
