How deep can it detect?

Ferromagnetic metal (rebar/iron pipe) to 100 mm, copper 80 mm, live wire 50 mm, PVC pipe 35 mm, wood 25 mm (plain-wall basis).

Is live-wire detection risky?

On tiles, glass or concrete the sensitivity drops and depth may reduce; the manual requires cross-checking against building drawings before drilling — safety first.

Can it find PVC pipes?

Yes. Auto mode detects PVC pipes; best results when the pipe is filled with water (diameter > 15 mm).

What does the red ring mean?

Green = standby, red = target detected and alarming; use the scale bar to locate the centre.
