Chroma meter · illuminance & colour
The CLM-200H measures light the way a lighting engineer needs it: illuminance from 0.1 to 200,000 lx, correlated colour temperature from 1,500 to 25,000 K, CIE1931 and CIE1976 chromaticity, tristimulus values, dominant wavelength, colour purity and luminous flux — read live from one optical head and shown together on a single colour screen.
- 0.1 – 200,000 lx
- 1,500 – 25,000 K
- CIE1931 / CIE1976
- xy ±0.003
- SD card logging
- 2,200 mAh

Why it stands out
Illuminance and colour in one readingEv, CIE1931 (x,y), CIE1976 (u′,v′), colour temperature, dominant wavelength, purity and luminous flux are shown together on one screen.
0.1 – 200,000 lx, four auto rangesSwitches ranges automatically from 5 lx / 0.5 fcd, so dim indicator panels and bright LED engines are measured on the same instrument.
±2 % of reading, xy ±0.003Accuracy verified against standard illuminant A at 500 lx, with xy repeatability of ±0.0005 for tight binning work.
Correlated colour temperature 1,500 – 25,000 KWarm dimming lamps through to cold-white LED modules, with the temperature curve and multi-point settings on screen.
Colour difference against a referenceΔ(XYZ), Δ(Evxy), Δ(Evuv), ΔEv, ΔTc and Δuv against the stored sample, for batch-to-batch comparison.
Logs on SD card, analyses on PCThe meter stores the latest nine readings and writes every capture to SD as a text file; the supplied software turns it into an Excel sheet.
What it measures
| Parameter | Range / unit |
|---|---|
| Illuminance (Ev) | 0.1 – 200,000 lx / 0.01 – 20,000 fcd |
| Integral illuminance | Evh / Evm (integrated over hours or minutes) |
| Correlated colour temperature (Tc) | 1,500 – 25,000 K |
| Chromaticity coordinates | CIE1931 (x, y) and CIE1976 (u′, v′) |
| Tristimulus values | X, Y, Z |
| Dominant wavelength (λd) | Displayed with the spectral range 360 – 780 nm |
| Colour purity (Pe) | Percentage of the dominant wavelength |
| Luminous flux (Φ) | lm |
| Colour difference | Δ(XYZ), Δ(Evxy), Δ(Evuv), ΔEv, ΔTc, Δuv |
| RGB | RGB values plus RGB colour-space graph |
Colour difference is calculated against the stored reference sample, so a new batch of LED modules can be compared to the approved one without leaving the meter.
Display, Logging & PC Software
Six real-time screens cycle with the up and down keys: a parameter screen, an illuminance curve against a standard value, integral illuminance, CIE1931 and CIE1976 colour-space plots, and an RGB plot. HOLD freezes a reading and writes it to the SD card; MAX keeps sampling until you stop it and reports the highest and lowest value with the time each one occurred.
- 6 real-time screens
- HOLD capture
- MAX / MIN with timestamps
- Standard illuminance target
- Latest 9 readings
- SD card TXT export
- Excel via PC software

FAQ
What exactly does the CLM-200H measure?
Illuminance, correlated colour temperature, chromaticity coordinates, tristimulus values, dominant wavelength, colour purity, luminous flux, RGB values and colour difference — all from the same optical head.
How accurate is it?
Illuminance is specified at ±2 % of reading and chromaticity at xy ±0.003, measured at 500 lx under standard illuminant A. Repeatability is ±2 %+1 digit for Ev and ±0.0005 for xy.
Do I need a dark room or a jig?
No. Point the measuring lens straight at the light source; the reading is live. A tripod socket on the body keeps the head steady for long integration or MAX captures.
Can it record a batch of measurements?
Yes. Each capture is written to the SD card as a text file, and the meter keeps the latest nine readings in memory for quick recall. The PC software imports the file and exports Excel.
Can I compare against a target illuminance?
Yes. Set a standard illuminance value in the menu and the display shows the deviation and the ratio against that target in real time — useful for production-line pass/fail checks.
How is it powered?
A built-in 2,200 mAh lithium battery, charged over Micro USB with the supplied adapter. The same port carries data to a PC.
Which units does it use?
Illuminance in lux or foot-candles (lx / fcd), colour temperature in kelvin, wavelength in nanometres, flux in lumens. The interface runs in English or Simplified Chinese.
