2/3-wire earth tester

The ET-23 is a portable digital earth resistance tester for field verification of grounding systems in power distribution, lightning protection, telecommunications and photovoltaic installations. It measures earth resistance by 2-wire and 3-wire methods, earth voltage, PV string voltage up to 1500V DC and AC voltage up to 750V. Auto-ranging, data hold and a backlit LCD make it practical for outdoor and switchroom work.

What measurement methods does the ET-23 support?
The ET-23 supports 2-wire and 3-wire earth resistance measurements across 0.03 Ω – 4000 Ω.
Why should I zero the test leads before measuring?
Test leads have residual resistance. Zeroing or storing the Rk value lets the meter subtract this resistance, improving accuracy on low-ohm ranges.
Can it measure PV system voltage?
Yes. The ET-23 measures PV voltage up to 1500V DC and AC voltage up to 750V.
What batteries does it use?
The ET-23 is powered by 6 × 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, which are included.
What is the auto power-off time?
The meter switches off automatically after 30 minutes of no operation in earth resistance mode.
