Pin-type moisture
The MM-1 is a pin-type wood moisture meter with seven material groups and ±2% accuracy, reading moisture from 0.1% to 54.8% depending on material. Twin pins give a direct contact reading, and a tri-color backlight classifies DRY / MID / WET at a glance — suited to lumber, firewood and woodworking QC.

FAQ
Which is more accurate, MM-1 or MM-2?
MM-1 pin-type accuracy is ±2%, higher than MM-2 inductive ±4%, but it requires piercing the surface with pins. MM-2 leaves the surface completely intact.
How do I switch between hardwood and softwood?
Press MODE to cycle to the matching material group (Material A: beech/spruce/larch; B: oak/pine/maple, etc.). The meter auto-matches the range and compensation curve.
Can it measure gypsum board moisture?
Yes. Set the material to Material D (anhydrite mortar layer), range 0.0–11.0%, suited to moisture acceptance before wall leveling.
What if a pin breaks?
Pins are wear parts — keep the protective cap on. Damaged pins can be purchased separately from your supplier; this does not affect the main-unit warranty.
