FAQ

Which platforms can the weather data be uploaded to?

Weather Underground and WeatherCloud. After WiFi pairing, live and historical data is pushed to both platforms and viewable on phone or computer.

Does this station need WiFi?

The WiFi version uploads to the cloud for remote viewing, but the core 433 MHz sensor-to-console link works locally regardless. If you only need local readings, any 433 MHz model works.

What parameters does the 5-in-1 sensor measure?

Temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, rainfall and pressure are integrated in the outdoor transmitter. This model has no UV or sunlight sensors.

How far does the sensor transmit?

Up to 100 m in open air at 433 MHz with a 16-second refresh, about 30 m through typical walls.

Can the solar panel charge the batteries?

The solar panel is auxiliary — it extends battery life but does not actively charge the AA cells.
